Simple GPS tracker for your iPhone

GPSRecorder is an app that transforms your iPhone in a fantastic GPS tracking device. It works like this:

  • You launch the app and start recording. Then upi put it back in your pocket and go out running, hiking or taking pictures.
  • The iPhone application records your position and time. While recording, you can use the map to see your track and use the map, or use the compass to know your direction.
  • Once home, you can review your track, speed and map, or export it to google earth, trailmapping or everytrail, or add geotags to your pictures

GPSRecorder exports your data in common formats such as gpx (for gps data interchange) or kml (for google maps & google earth).

GPSRecorder is made to save your battery: record many hours of GPS with your iPhone. Automatically dim screen when in the pocket, lock the screen and no useless internet connection while hiking.

The Battery saving mode goes further and records only notable position changes.

Instantly know where you are and where you’re heading: the recording screen provides you with essential info and a compass.

You can review your tracks and rename them easily in the history screen. See all info, including map.
